PAMELA RODRIGUEZ

Born in Peru and living around Canada, the United States, Spain, and Venezuela. Pamela studied composition at the University of North Texas. Pamela discovers her passion for music thanks to Chabuca Granda, Peruvian folklorist; and Joni Mitchell. Her first album would be born in 2005 and she was given the name “Perú Bue”, which would lead her to her first nomination at the 2006 GRAMMY® Latino Awards for Best New Artist. In 2007 he released his second album "En la shore", where he toured various genres such as Creole music, landó, reggae, cumbia or pop. "On the shore" managed to position itself among the eight best-selling albums in Peru In November 2011, Pamela made a radical turn from folk to indie pop and presented her album "Recognize", where she collected her recent experiences: exile and freedom, love and motherhood. “Recognize” was also nominated for the 2012 GRAMMY® Latino Awards for Best Contemporary Pop Album.
